Significance of the project
These days, places that claim to be "pet-friendly" are becoming increasingly common. But surely every parent understands there's a huge difference between simply letting pets in and truly welcoming them to a pet-friendly experience.
Are there clean spaces where pets can play freely, or designated restrooms? Are the staff properly trained to handle any issues that may arise? Is the place truly safe and comfortable, or is it just advertising?
To date, no one has actually verified this.
INTRODUCTION TO SKY'S "PET-FRIENDLY PLACE" CERTIFICATION
As veterinary experts and pioneers in animal welfare in Vietnam, we are proud to bring transparency to both pet owners and businesses. Sky's "Pet-Friendly Locations" project is the first of its kind developed in Vietnam – a reliable certification that identifies locations that truly roll out the red carpet for four-legged guests.
Each certified location is personally visited and evaluated by our team based on a list of 20 criteria encompassing everything from safety and hygiene to amenities and staff training processes. Depending on the evaluation results, qualified establishments are awarded Silver or Gold certifications.
Sky Pet-Friendly Certified, available at hotels, cafes, and public spaces throughout Vietnam, helps identify places where pets receive attentive care, owners can relax, and every experience is easy and enjoyable.
